Philosophy of Practice

Welcome to Queen Creek Primary Care. We are the longest established health care clinic in the town of Queen Creek. Dr. Deryl Lamb founded the clinic in 1996. We are excited to be a part of your health care needs. We have a diversity of providers to choose from. We all have the goal of providing you with the best medical care possible. We also can connect you with the vast network of specialists in the East Valley of Phoenix should the need arise.

Prevention

We are interested not only in your current health care needs but in prevention as well. We want you to stay healthy, longer, and with a quality of life so that you can enjoy to the fullest the challenges of life.

Services Provided

Our practitioners are trained not only in infant and newborn care but also in adolescent and adult care as well. Dr. Stacy Mickey even delivers babies. If the condition requires more specialty care we attempt to refer you to the appropriate specialist who can better attend to your needs.
The following is a partial list as to what our clinic is trained to do:

Pediatric Services

-Newborn care including circumcision
-Immunizations and complete pediatric physicals
- Sports physicals
- Urgent and acute care
- Common newborn and children’s illnesses
- Adolescent health concerns

Adult Health Care Services

- Gynecology care
- Maternity care including deliveries (Dr. Mickey)
- Adult physicals
- Urgent and acute care
- Common adult illnesses

- Many skin conditions including rashes,
   mole removals and pre-cancerous areas
- Depression and other non life threatening mental illnesses

Our clinic is skilled to provide you with acute or non-long term pain management. If your condition requires the long term need for narcotic pain prescriptions then we will refer you to a pain management specialist. The appropriate level of care for Queen Creek Primary Care is to provide temporary relief of such conditions as broken bones, end-stage cancer for pain relief, and, in some instances, pain relief for surgeries. No other condition should require the use of narcotics. Our staff cannot refill pain medications after hours or on weekends.

Prescription Refills

We know how important it is to have your prescriptions renewed so that your medications are taken uninterruptedly. Please give us 48 to 72 hours to refill your prescriptions.

After Hours Calls

We provide a 24 hour call service so that you can discuss your emergency health concerns. Most, if not all concerns will require you to be evaluated, in person, by a health care facility. We are unable to diagnose illnesses over the phone. We do not call in medications over the phone during after hour times. We are not authorized to call in antibiotics or pain medications.

We do provide an after hours clinic in the form of our Express Care clinic. We are open from 12 noon to 7 pm daily, Monday through Friday and on Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm. This clinic is especially important so that you can be seen, when you are ill. Other after hour times you may be referred to an Urgent Care or Emergency Center of a hospital.
